Job description

Reporting to the Custody Operations Team Lead, the candidate will manage trade settlement processes, corporate actions/income management, accounts opening, and other operational activities to support Custody Operations.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  1. Trade/Settlement
  2. Manage Middle Eastern Trade and Settlement activities.
  3. Oversee cash and stock reconciliations to ensure regulatory compliance.
  4. Manage proxy voting activities with zero errors.
  5. Maintain excellent relationships with internal stakeholders across locations to meet service level agreements.
  6. Build and sustain relationships with various counterparties.
  7. Analyze internal reports, raise queries, and ensure accurate and compliant client delivery.
  8. Participate in custody operations meetings to develop expertise.
  9. Resolve queries promptly within set standards and timeframes.
  10. Provide documentation for audits, ensuring compliance and regulatory standards.
  11. Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly KPIs.
  12. Escalate issues appropriately and maintain clear communication channels.
  13. Update operational procedures to reflect process changes.
  14. Collaborate closely with the Local Depository.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience in investment operations, preferably custody operations, with knowledge of the Saudi market.
  • Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
  • Proactive approach with ownership of issues until resolution.
  • Strong multitasking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with good organization and time management.
  • Understanding of risk management and regulatory frameworks.
