Role / Department :

Reporting to the Custody Operations Team Lead, the candidate will manage trade settlement processes, corporate actions/income management, accounts opening, and other operational activities to support Custody Operations.

The key responsibilities of the role include :

Trade / Settlement

1. Manage Middle Eastern Trade and Settlement activities.
2. Oversee cash and stock reconciliations to ensure regulatory compliance.
3. Manage proxy voting activities, ensuring accuracy and error-free processing.
4. Maintain excellent relationships with internal stakeholders across locations to meet service level agreements.
5. Build and sustain relationships with various counterparties.
6. Analyze internal reports, raise queries, and ensure accurate, compliant client delivery.
7. Participate in custody operations meetings to develop expertise.
8. Resolve queries promptly within set standards and timeframes.
9. Provide documentation and information for audits, ensuring compliance and smooth processes.
10. Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly KPIs.
11. Escalate issues appropriately and maintain open communication channels.
12. Update operational procedures to reflect process changes.
13. Collaborate closely with the Local Depository.

Skills / Qualifications :

• Experience in investment operations, preferably custody operations, with knowledge of the Saudi market.
• Excellent Arabic and English communication skills.
• Proactive approach with ownership of issues until resolution.
• Strong multitasking, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of risk management and regulations.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
