Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Accountant to oversee the day-to-day operations of our accounting department, with a key focus on managing and optimizing the Accounts Receivable function. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supervise junior team members, and support strategic financial decision-making.

• Supervise and lead the accounting team, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time
• Oversee the entire Accounts Receivable process: invoicing, customer collections, aging analysis, and reconciliation
• Monitor receivables performance and follow up with customers to ensure timely payments
• Prepare regular AR reports and provide insights to management on outstanding balances and credit risks
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and financial reporting
• Review and approve reconciliations for bank accounts, customer accounts, and other key ledgers
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Identify process improvement opportunities within AR and other accounting functions
• Act as a key point of contact for internal and external audits
• Provide training and support to junior accountants and other finance staff

• Bachelor&aposs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role
• Strong expertise in Accounts Receivable management and customer relationship handling
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
