Records and reviews of financial transactions and review of inventory transactions interface from inventory module. The accountant has to ensure accurate accounting in accordance with accounting standards. Responsible to perform general accounting activities specializing in general ledger and financial report functions. Monitor chart of Accounts structure and relevant communication with IT to ensure controlled update if needed.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepares journal entries; performs bank reconciliations, cash, inter-fund transfers and reconciles General ledger Accounts.
Prepares and reconciles monthly trial balances for each accounting fund. Performs, reviews, and reconciles each accounting fund to ensure debits and credits are in balance in all funds.
Clearing and suspense accounts are documented and balance cleared within 30 days.
Prepares internal and external reports/ surveys.
Responsible for budget accounts set-up transfers, general ledger and chart of accounts maintenance and on-line computerized transactions.
Establishes regular procedures and performs scheduled analysis of general ledger balance sheets such as cash and clearing accounts, liability accounts and inventory transactions.
Researches and clears items in suspense accounts.
Prepares and reviews journal entries, prepares reconciliation of registration reports to tuition and fees.
Overheads Monthly reports- doing monthly overheads reports to reveal our forecasted monthly expenses for budgeting and planning purposes, also for comparing actual Vs. Budgeted amounts and inspecting any deviations on spot.

Job Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Minimum of 3 years of related experiences
Professional certificates is preferable
Must demonstrate the ability to handle all activities related to Accounting.
Ability to think logically and systematically
Strong interpersonal skills such as communication, motivation, loyalty and openness
Knowledge of computerized accounting system & spreadsheet software
Ability to communicate properly in oral and written forms
Proficiency in both English and Arabic
