Job description

  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax returns.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
  • Maintain the proper recording of fixed assets transactions, in accordance with the company policy & IFRS.
  • Handling petty cash and sales cash collection & carrying out cash/bank deposit transactions.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Mentor and support junior accounting staff.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CMA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (IFRS/GAAP).
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
