Job summary

Sealy Mattress Middle East is seeking a Senior Accountant to own day‑to‑day general ledger, product costing, and asset registries in our Jeddah operation.

You will drive IFRS-compliant financial statements, close cycles, and tax filings while coordinating with retail and manufacturing teams to improve financial efficiency.

Bachelor’s in accounting/finance, 5+ years’ experience, Arabic and English fluency, and ERP experience (Odoo) are required; Saudi nationals preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 5 years in accounting/finance, preferably in manufacturing, retail, or FMCG.
• Proficiency in Tier-1 ERP systems (Odoo preferred), advanced Excel, and Saudi portals (ZATCA, Madad).
• Native Arabic and professional English; SOCPA, CMA, or ACCA credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare IFRS-compliant financial statements and manage closings.
• Oversee fixed assets, inventory valuations, and audit workflows.
• Handle VAT, Zakat, and corporate tax filings, plus e-invoicing data integrity.
• Monitor cash flows, payables/receivables, and payroll via the Madad portal.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and retail teams on cost variances and controls.

Role Overview

Sealy Mattress Middle East is seeking an analytical, detail-oriented, and highly progressive Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

In this role, you will take hands‑on ownership of the day-to-day general ledger workflows, product costing mechanisms, and asset registries. Acting as a critical anchor between operational accounting and financial compliance, you will oversee financial closing cycles, ensure adherence to Saudi regulatory and tax standards, and collaborate closely with our retail and manufacturing divisions to drive fiscal efficiency.

Core Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes and prepare IFRS-compliant financial statements.
• Oversee fixed assets, inventory valuations, and audit workflows.
• Handle ZATCA-compliant VAT, Zakat, and corporate tax filings, alongside e-invoicing data integrity.

1. Operations & Controls

• Monitor cash flows, oversee payables/receivables, and review payroll via the Saudi Madad portal.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams on cost variances and maintain internal control frameworks.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

• Nationality & Residency: Saudi National currently residing in or ready to commute to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in accounting/finance, preferably within manufacturing, retail, or FMCG.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tier-1 ERP systems (Odoo preferred), advanced Excel, and relevant Saudi portals (ZATCA, Madad).
• Languages & Certifications: Native Arabic and professional English; SOCPA, CMA, or ACCA credentials are a plus.
