Qualifications

Job description

Basic Function

• Perform financial analysis and reporting to CFO as needed.
• Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and adjusting journal entries.
• Perform month-end closing and posting revenues and expenses.
• Make sure transactions are recorded as per IFRS standards.
• Manage prepayments, accruals and salary posting.
• Coordinate with finance team and operations team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.
• Evaluate computerized accounting systems and provide recommendations to IT team for performance improvements.
• Generate monthly overall financial reports and statements for CFO review (P/L, B/S , CF).
• Generate monthly division wise financial reports and statements for CFO review (P/L, B/S, CF).
• Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions.
• Monitor expenditures, analyze revenues, determine budget variances, and report the same to CFO.
• Respond to accounting inquiries from management/clients/suppliers in a timely fashion.
• Provide guidance to other accountants when needed.
• Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.
• Assist external Auditors by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
• Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations.
• Review and recommend changes to existing accounting procedures.
• Process additions and disposals of assets.
• Performs bank reconciliation.
• Check and analyze fuel consumption per driver/ truck.
• Make sure insurance policy / claims is updated and processed.
• Approve the vouchers / entries made by the accountants and make sure correct costing by division is implemented.
  
  

Education And Qualification

Bachelor’s or Master’s

degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields. Professional certification

such as CA, CPA (Qualified or Part-Qualified), or ACCA is preferred.

Professionalexperience

3–4 years preferably in a top-tier audit firm, along with a minimum of 3–4 years of relevant industry experience.
