Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:

1. Day to day dealings with banks.
2. Assist Finance Manager in arranging issuance of LC’s, Bank Guarantees etc.
3. Check Bank Reconciliation statements.
4. Accounting of Subcontractors payment certificates and to ensure timely payments.
5. Assist the Deputy Finance manager in preparation of all Audit schedule.
6. Provide information required by the Internal/External Auditors.
7. Prepare site wise allocation of monthly Depreciation Journal Vouchers.
8. Allocate camp costs to various sites.
9. Monthly accountings of internal plant hire charges.
10. Checking of all Smart Card /Master card transactions and periodical reconciliations.
11. Keeping track of the Bank credit facilities and prepare the necessary documents required at the time of renewals.
12. Monthly reconciliation of all outstanding guarantees/ Acceptances/Outstanding LCs, etc.
13. Keeping track of all Foreign Exchange Contracts.
14. Reconciliation of Cash floats & staff advances.
15. Perform other related duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

1. 10 years’ experience in Construction Industry.
2. 3 years’ experience in relevant title/ designation.
3. CA Inter / CMA Inter Preferred.
