Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee tenant receipts and manage account reconciliations. In this key role, you will ensure accurate tracking and allocation of payments, monitor customer accounts for overdue invoices, and lead collection efforts. You will also prepare monthly journal entries for overdue receivables and play a critical role in onboarding new tenants while maintaining financial accuracy.

What will you be doing?

• To follow the established procedures for reconciling and offsetting the receipts from Tenants ( by direct deposits to company account, Ejar or payment Gateway) and offset any outstanding balance in our systems.
• Monitor customer account details for invoice due, Credit limits, Follow up of payments, delayed payments and other irregularities.
• To follow up the collection and to make sure that the all incoming payments are allocated against the invoices on a regular basis.
• To get the statement of accounts of Tenant regularly, reconcile the accounts and ensure any disputed invoices or unallocated payments are followed up with the concerned internal dept and resolved without any delay
• At the end of the month, calculate the provision against overdue receivable as per company credit policy and to prepare a journal entry for revising the provision.
• Filing and Najiz execution order against any overdue customer as per the collection and set our terms
• To onboard all new tenants and create a payment schedule for tenants as per contract, and send tenant account age analysis to the all concerned ones on regular basis and notify any undue delay in payments by any customer.
• At month end, follow up with all suppliers/service providers and post all the due bills and reconcile the vendor balance.
• At the month, for all expenses, calculate and accruals/provisions and update master sheet with the new one and reverse any previous, where invoice received.
• Maintain the prepayment register, with the amortization table and amortization schedule.

You're a perfect match if you have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 4+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on senior-level responsibilities.
• Experience in a tech start-up is a plus.
• Proficient in ERP systems (preferably Odoo but not a must) and knowledgeable in IFRS 15 and IAS 39.
• Understanding of the taxation environment in KSA (VAT, WHT, CIT & ZAKAT) is Plus but not mandatory.
