The Purpose of the Role
- Achieve product line AOP orders for the Field & Process Instruments offering of Process Measurement & Control (PMC), supporting revenue and gross margin growth across various verticals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including Energy, Water & Wastewater, MMM, Growth Chemicals, and Manufacturing Industry.
Responsibilities include:
- Executing growth strategies for the Field & Process Instruments product line (Pressure, Temperature, Level, Flow, Wireless, and Analysers), including account development, OEM partnerships, geographic expansion, and segment strategies.
- Engaging effectively with EPCs (local and international) for all projects, including ARAMCO mega projects, and directly engaging with end users to influence purchasing decisions.
- Driving the pipeline to three times the order target, including for new product introductions (NPIs).
- Implementing efficient MOS to focus sharply on orders, revenue growth, and profitability.
- Supporting the development of a high-performing team of PMC account managers, channel business managers, and technical sales consultants.
- Providing business development support to channels to help them achieve AOP.
- Monitoring market, competitive, NPI, and win-loss trends to implement agile corrective actions for market share growth.
- Ensuring sales channels, both direct and indirect, are capable of effectively delivering value propositions to customers.
- Conducting demand generation activities in conjunction with sales and marketing teams (campaigns, roadshows, events, seminars).
- Providing pre-sales and post-sales support to resolve product-related challenges and enhance customer satisfaction (including escalations, order management, customer care, service, lead times, pricing, sourcing, ISC).
- Helping resolve technical issues related to orders and revenue when needed.
- Positioning cross-PMC portfolio offerings (GAS Measurement, Gas Detection, Terminal, Modular Systems) as required.
Qualifications:
- BSc, BA, or BE degree, preferably in Instrument Engineering or Business, with MBA as an added value.
- Minimum 12+ years in front-end customer-facing roles including sales, marketing, and project management, with expertise in Field & Process Instruments (Pressure, Temperature, Level, Flow, Wireless, Analysers).
- Knowledge of field solutions such as field and process instruments is a plus.
- Strong product line and industry knowledge, especially in the Saudi Oil & Gas and Water markets, with excellent relationships with end users and EPCs.
- Experience engaging directly with local and international EPCs, closing deals over USD 1 million is essential.
- Proven sales success with key accounts like ARAMCO and SABIC.
- Hands-on experience with CRM, SAP, and other tools.
- Ability to influence within a matrix organization and work in a management-by-influence environment.
- Strong growth mindset and leadership skills in planning, executing sales campaigns, and driving change.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.
- Experience developing strategic initiatives impacting business plans and profits.
- Ability to travel up to 60%.
