Job summary

Job description

Scope of Responsibilities


Ensure that Security requirements are widely and consistently understood and implemented. Provide a day-to-day service that is effective and suitable to support office and facility operations in compliance to the internal and external guidelines


Primary Duties


·Prevent unauthorized persons and equipment entering or leaving the office.


·Search parcels, vehicles, bags when a person/vehicle enter or leave the office or associated facilities.


·Provide assistance to visitors, issue access passes, and maintain records of security clearance for employees and visitors.


·Receive incoming deliverables/ mails for the office such as supplies and parcels delivered by courier. Monitor all documents /packages/product samples sent to the company by keeping a logbook of incoming and outgoing consignments.


· Visually patrol the buildings, grounds, and parking lots to observe unusual or suspicious objects, and unauthorized persons. Observe employee or visitor behavior to determine compliance with HSSE operating standards.


·Take action during emergency situations such as illness, safety hazards, or other unusual situations.


· Operate all security-related electronic systems, including access control system, digital surveillance systems, CCTV systems, Access Card System and Gate Controls.


·Monitor all BMS and Safety related systems in the building to ensure smooth operations.


· Operate the main Fire Alarm Control Panel, other fire suppression units, Public Address Systems in the building.


· Interface with HR, Administration for employee orientation with Security Procedures, timesheet clarification and investigation.


· Ensure safety of property and personnel. Look out for hazards and alert the HSSE Manager as and when necessary.


·Enter, transcribe and record information on the computer or the reporting form on daily activities and report irregularities to the line management. Observe and report regularly to your supervisor on any security incidents.


·Ensure that required work permits are available for the works from authorized personal and ensure personnel carrying out wear required safety equipment as deemed fit by the Safety Inspector.


·Observe incoming and departing personnel to guard against theft of company property. Monitor and report all suspicious activities or objects.


·Act as the primary point of contact for all off-hours security-related incidents. Support corporate security administrative needs, including incident report generation, data entry and associated documentation.


·Perform other duties not typically encompassed in this class in order to accommodate emergency situations and as directed by the supervisor.
