Overview

  • Retail Sales Agent - JED
  • POSITION FOCUS: Provide quality service and ensure smooth operations for customers while maintaining professional appearance and behavior at the Front Counter.

Responsibilities

  • Preserve cleanliness and outstanding appearance within the Front Counter. Project a professional image in greeting and serving customers.
  • Impact: Ensure all sales targets are met/exceeded. Manage cash and the cash float properly. Use SPS system to complete AWBs in line with business standards.
  • Operations: Maintain perfect shipment standards at all times. Keep appropriate levels of pamphlets and tolls on display. Ability to choose between various options with careful consideration. Use sound reasoning in uncertain situations.
  • Customer/Stakeholder: Deliver accurate and appropriate information to customers; provide guidance on delivery approval and carriage. Screen all deliveries prior to approval. Take necessary action against DGA shipments. Ensure consignments are collected as appropriate by the consignee.
  • Equipment & Tools: Ensure all equipment remains in working order (Card, Weighing, Computer). Properly up-pack disk details from the SPS at the end of the day.
  • People Monitoring: Understand the perceptions and requirements of others and pick up on unspoken cues.

Qualifications

  • Education: Diploma or college degree.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years in customer support.
  • Technical Knowledge/Skills: Strong computer skills, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
