Security Services Middle Office Associate

Job Description: The role is based in the Firm's Security Services business, which delivers investor solutions to help institutional clients protect their portfolios, optimize efficiency, and maximize opportunities in diverse global markets. We support clients across a global custody network spanning 100 markets, offering custody and asset servicing, fund accounting and administration, alternative investment services, integrated analytics, agency lending, collateral management, and depositary receipt solutions.

Our global clients include asset/fund managers, asset owners, banks and broker-dealers, hedge funds, alternative investors, insurance companies, and GSEs (Government Sponsored Enterprises).

The Client Facing Team plays a vital role in the day-to-day management of the Custody Middle Office. They act as the single point of contact for clients regarding their trade, cash, and asset servicing inquiries, and perform client outreach on behalf of various operational teams. The key focus areas are proactivity, responsiveness, knowledge, and a drive for excellence.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Work as part of a global Client Facing team providing direct support across a wide variety of products and markets.
  2. Build strong internal and external relationships with JPM clients and operational teams to ensure a best-in-class service offering.
  3. Provide value-added client service and operational expertise for Asset Servicing, Cash, FX, and Trade inquiries.
  4. Perform root cause analysis of Asset Servicing (COACs and Income), Cash, FX, and Trade issues/enquiries for stakeholders and review opportunities to encourage self-service solutions.
  5. Identify opportunities to reduce client inquiries, improve client STP rates for cash, FX, Asset Servicing, and trade instructions, and reduce manual faxes or bespoke client processes.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Self-motivated, flexible, innovative, adaptable, and analytical.
  • Excellent prioritization, planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in interacting and communicating with internal and external parties.
  • Some industry/product knowledge in Trades, Cash, or Asset Servicing is advantageous.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
