About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a
Security Manager join our team at
Jumeirah The Red Sea. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Maximize the prevention of crime by ensuring the regular presence of security officers in all areas of the hotels.
- Collaborate with hotel colleagues to ensure they are knowledgeable about hotel security procedures and fully briefed on the importance of security awareness.
- Review daily arrivals lists to identify high-risk individuals, including credit risks and VIP guests, and report any identified individuals to management.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with the police force, foreign office, customs & excise, local intelligence units, immigration, and other pertinent civil authorities.
- Manage the planning and completion of statutory fire and emergency training for all colleagues, including all levels of management, with input from appropriate colleagues and delivered by qualified personnel.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- 10+ years of proven experience in security management, with a strong background in Police, Military, or Security sectors.
- Extensive knowledge of crisis and risk management, coupled with leadership skills to manage teams and operations effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with hands-on experience using fire-fighting and CCTV equipment.
- Certified in First Aid and CPR, demonstrating commitment to safety and emergency preparedness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to perform well under pressure.
