Job description

The Security Guard position in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia is a critical role responsible for maintaining safety and security in various environments. This position requires vigilance, strong communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. Security Guards play a vital role in protecting property, assets, and individuals while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Candidates must be physically fit, observant, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises.
2. Patrol assigned areas to detect and prevent signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
3. Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
4. Prepare and maintain detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations for management review.
5. Conduct regular inspections of the property and equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
6. Provide assistance and information to visitors and employees, promoting a safe and welcoming environment.
7. Implement security protocols and procedures to enhance safety measures across the premises.
8. Assist in training new security personnel on protocols and emergency response procedures.
9. Monitor surveillance equipment and conduct regular checks to ensure functionality.
10. Participate in safety drills and training sessions to stay updated on emergency response techniques.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
4. Experience in security or law enforcement is highly desirable.
5. Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
6. Proficient in using security technology and surveillance systems.
7. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
8. Strong ethical standards and integrity in all actions.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Knowledge of emergency response procedures and first aid is a plus.
