Job Opportunity: SBL Product Development & Launch Advisor

Location: Riyadh

Contract: 6 months (with possible extension)

Immediate joiners preferred.

We are seeking a seasoned expert in Securities Borrowing & Lending (SBL) to lead the development and launch of an SBL proposition for a prominent institution in Riyadh.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 10+ years of direct experience in securities finance, specifically in SBL
• Proven success in launching or scaling SBL programs
• Deep understanding of SBL structures, collateral practices, and risk management
• Strong regulatory knowledge, including CMA (KSA) and international standards (ISLA)
• Familiarity with operational frameworks, CSDs, and lending platforms like EquiLend
• Extensive network across institutional investors, hedge funds, brokers, custodians, and regulators

Key Responsibilities and Skills:

• Advise on the development of SBL product frameworks and operational models
• Support compliance, regulatory licensing, and engagement with local and international authorities
• Provide input on technology infrastructure for trading, collateral, and reporting
• Offer market intelligence and benchmarking
• Train internal teams on SBL operations, risk, and best practices

Preferred Background:

Experience with companies such as State Street, JPMorgan, Citi, HSBC, Northern Trust, BNY Mellon, SNB Capital, Riyad Capital, FAB, EquiLend, ISLA.
