SAP 4/HANA Senior Functional Consultant - Manufacturing

Job purpose :

This role involves managing all phases of SAP S/4HANA implementation, as well as administering, supporting, and maintaining SAP RISE modules and the existing ECC in their area of expertise. Additionally, the role includes responsibilities for users support and training.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to capture and document business requirements.
2. Collaborate with the system integrator to ensure adherence to S/4HANA implementation best practices.
3. Build / review the design, configuration documents, and data migration plan.
4. Identify, prioritise, supervise / undertake the development of customisations and ensure that all programmes have adequate technical and functional documentation.
5. Support integration with non-SAP systems and drive change management activities.
6. Develop / review test scenarios, validate, and support UAT to confirm the system meets business requirements and approved design.
7. Train end-users and conduct refresher sessions as needed.
8. Undertake the first line support for users and liaise with the manufacturers to perform the second line support.
9. Perform the application administration tasks.
10. Collaborate with stakeholders to implement continuous improvement initiatives and resolve operational challenges.
11. Deploy the new application releases and latest fixes, taking into consideration the existing customizations and user training.
12. Develop & maintain the related policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Academic and professional qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in engineering, information technology, or a related field.
2. Certification in SAP S/4HANA Production Planning and Manufacturing is a must.

Experience:

1. A minimum 5-8 years of experience as SAP production planning and manufacturing consultant with 2-3 full end-to-end implementations.
2. Proven experience with manufacturing core functionalities and hands-on experience with:
3. SAP Quality Control Management.
4. SAP Asset Management.
5. SAP Product Engineering & Advanced Variant Configuration.
6. Experience in leading and collaborating with system integrators during and after ERP implementation.

Skills & Knowledge :

1. Proficiency in SAP implementation methodologies (e.g., Activate).
2. Bilingual capabilities (proficiency in English and Arabic).
