Job description

Role Purpose

To lead, manage, develop, and control the sales team of a channel within a region in GTC Operations. The role ensures the delivery of sales, distribution, and display objectives through the implementation of Trade Marketing and Sales Operational Plans aligned with brand strategies. It involves operating within budgets to achieve IMS objectives, developing business, executing plans, and identifying growth opportunities in the specified channel.

Job Accountabilities & Activities
  1. Ensure IMS, distribution, and display objectives are achieved according to brand strategies.
  2. Coordinate with RSM for accurate sales forecasting.
  3. Implement Sales Cycle Activities to meet priorities and objectives.
  4. Achieve budgeted in-market sales by brand and channel.
  5. Develop and monitor sales targets with the sales team and RSM.
  6. Develop top customers within the channel.
  7. Achieve strike rates and productivity goals.
  8. Implement promotional plans as agreed with TMM.
  9. Build displays in key traffic areas to influence consumers.
  10. Manage share of displays through category or space management.
  11. Execute POS materials and consumer communication effectively.
  12. Ensure logistical readiness for new SKU listings.
  13. Implement incentive programs for the sales force.
  14. Coordinate product launches and execute plans.
  15. Manage inventory levels with Trade and report monthly.
  16. Monitor competitive activities and provide feedback.
  17. Maintain preferred supplier status through excellent customer service.
  18. Ensure collection and receivables adhere to policy.
  19. Implement and monitor sales administrative systems.
  20. Present monthly sales plans and priorities to the sales team.
  21. Work with the sales team to meet cycle objectives.
  22. Review performance monthly to ensure alignment with objectives.
  23. Hold monthly sales cycle meetings.
  24. Build relationships with top customer management through visits and contact.
  25. Implement pricing strategies after discussion with suppliers.
  26. Reduce impact of short expiry products on P&L.
  27. Maximize ROI on trade promotions and visibility.
  28. Ensure sales teams have adequate knowledge and skills.
  29. Lead and direct sales teams through example and involvement.
  30. Coordinate staff training needs.
  31. Maintain Saudization levels among the sales force.
