Job description

Job Purpose

The Senior Specialist Sales is responsible for driving business growth by identifying and cultivating Key Accounts while analyzing market trends and opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and providing ongoing support and guidance. By supervising direct sales activities and managing performance, it ensures alignment with company objectives and maximizes sales potential across all product lines.

Job Specific Accountabilities

  1. Build business success by identifying, qualifying, and selling Key Accounts prospects and analyzing opportunities by researching the industry and market trends.
  2. Prepare reports by collecting sales information and statistics.
  3. Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
  4. Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  5. Supervise and manage direct sales activities.
  6. Supervise all administration planning and HR activities, including performance for direct sales staff.
  7. Liaise with CIC & CRM departments to ensure shipment movement as planned, and coordinate with company departments to handle any service failures.
  8. Collect, audit, and reconcile end of shift reports, then dispatch end of shift reports to the Finance department.
  9. Attend client meetings to understand their needs and preferences, discuss potential sales opportunities, and present relevant products or services.
  10. Understand client requests and present the client with the best solution that meets their needs.
  11. Issue the client a financial receipt.
  12. Hand over shipment and documentation to the Operations/Ground handling department.
  13. Ensure achieving the highest and best results of targeted and planned sales in all product lines.
  14. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks.
  15. Analyze specified problems and issues to find the best technical and/or professional solutions.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Marketing, or related field.
  2. A minimum of 4 - 6 years of experience in the same or similar field.
