Working as a Sales Manager involves leading the sales team, developing and executing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and achieving revenue targets through effective market penetration and customer engagement.

Key Accountabilities

The position involves:

  • Formulate and implement sales strategies to achieve growth and revenue targets within the industrial sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets, including key accounts and potential leads.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for major clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team, setting performance goals and providing coaching to improve sales performance.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to stay informed on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, including sales forecasts, performance reviews, and pipeline status updates for senior management.
  • Lead contract negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms for the company while meeting client requirements.
