About the Company :

A leading Saudi retailer specializing in sporting goods and equipment, established in 1957. It operates over 50 stores across the Kingdom, offering apparel, footwear, fitness equipment, and accessories from top international brands, along with its own product lines. The company focuses on promoting sports and fitness culture nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and growth objectives.
  2. Create and manage sales plans and forecasts for both B2B and retail clients in the sporting goods sector.
  3. Manage the sales and inventory of more than 15,000 items across various categories, ensuring proper stock levels are maintained.
  4. Identify new business opportunities and markets for expansion.
  5. Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets.
  6. Provide regular training, coaching, and performance feedback to sales representatives to enhance their selling skills and product knowledge.
  7. Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture.
  8. Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and potential clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  9. Monitor customer needs and provide solutions through tailored sales presentations and product offerings.
  10. Identify and resolve any customer-related issues or concerns promptly.
  11. Track and report on sales performance, including weekly/monthly/quarterly sales reports, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  12. Analyze sales data to identify trends, forecast future sales, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  13. Present regular sales performance reports to senior management.
  14. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the sporting goods industry, including new products, technologies, and competitors.
  15. Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, and competitor offerings, and identify areas for product and service improvement.
  16. Negotiate and close deals with key accounts, wholesalers, and distributors.
  17. Ensure contracts and agreements are properly executed and meet company standards and profitability goals.
  18. Collaborate with the inventory and logistics teams to ensure that orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
  19. Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking, ensuring the sales team has the products needed to close deals.
  20. Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging and promotional efforts.
  21. Participate in product launches, trade shows, and other promotional events.

Qualification and Skills :

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales within retail and sporting goods industry.
  • Strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively.
