Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Enable Sales Team to act as a first-class ambassador of the brand – proactively follows the Sales Process / Methodology.
  2. Make provisions to apply the sales budget, monitor showroom performance, and discuss corrective action if required.
  3. Attract Sales team to make any walk-in customer to the showroom seating with the Sales team desk, (re) train, and remind sales team on Welcome Procedure.
  4. Consult and train staff during new openings and especially be available to train and guide new joiners.
  5. Actively monitor updates about kitchen and appliance displays in showroom, ensuring discontinued kitchens are being removed and check with Appliance Department to only have appliances in stock displayed.
  6. Consult in promotion activities in a timely manner, such as providing promotion material and promotion sign boards. Ensure that Sales Team is aware of promotion details.
  7. Ensure Sales team is applying the sales process and providing accurate technical data.
  8. Establish best practice review – remind every Salesperson about the key elements to successfully close a contract (Sales Methodology).
  9. Secure collection of contact details of walk-in customers who do not spend time to receive kitchen design – to allow follow-up marketing activity.
  10. Check on follow-up activity by each Salesperson – help to find technical support to follow up.
  11. Ensure compliance to monthly store checklist carried out by Area Manager.
  12. Monitor customer feedback, analyze root cause, discuss with peer Area Manager, and launch corrective action.
  13. Assist in the recruitment of new Sales staff.
  14. Manage discount strategy – be aware of total cost impact to the project, ensuring the break-even point per project is considered to stay profitable.
  15. Have the total commercial overview of different showroom activity, monitor overall cost development, and secure sufficient staffing in line with customer frequency and kitchen design demand.

Skills:

  1. Essential: bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  2. Preferred: master’s degree in a related field.
  3. Leadership skills to run multiple site retail business.
  4. High commercial sense in monitoring costs and sales to drive profitability.
  5. Able to run analysis on reports and easily make cross-ratio analysis.
  6. Technical affinity in furniture/room dimensions.
  7. Extensive experience in closing kitchen sales contracts.
  8. Natural leadership habit, gains authority easily.
  9. Technical and commercially updated on recent developments to be a technical and commercial consultant to the Sales team.
