The position is accountable for soliciting and handling sales opportunities. Ensures business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery. Conducts day-to-day activities related to sales with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives. To analyse local market trends and competitor activity to recommend strategies that keep the hotel a leader in the marketplace through the development of future and repeat business.

What we need from you:
Minimum of 2-3 years Sales experience in 5-star Hotel property; Hospitality degree or equivalent; Excellent customer relations, problem solving and time management skills; Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Opera Sales; Proven ability to create new business opportunities; Assertive, professional and positive with a proven ability to develop in a team environment; Must be able to work independently and maintain a positive attitude within a very busy environment; Valid driver's license is preferred.
