Qualifications

JOB PURPOSE:

Develop and implement the detailed yearly sales plan in line with the company’s sales budget and expand a new client base and key accounts. Implement strategies of increased market penetration that meet short and long-term business objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Sales Targets & Growth
  1. Ensure awareness of all new developments within the market area in comparison to competitor’s products
  2. Develop and implement action plans for new market segment penetration
  3. Set sales targets and course of action for achievement
  4. Responsible for the assigned Market Area & Key Accounts to meet budgets and objectives
  5. Attend to all needs, problems and issues with the assigned key accounts
  6. Follow-up, negotiate, and finalise orders as per the sales plan and profitability objectives
Reporting
  1. Prepare Yearly Sales Budget
  2. Conduct quarterly review and update of Sales achievements versus budgets
  3. Prepare monthly reports based on proposals and evaluate and recommend the course of action
  4. Present monthly updates on orders received and lost
  5. Provide timely and accurate feedback to upper senior management regarding sales performance
Coordination
  1. Coordinate with the technical team to ensure that the market information against the competitors’ positions is evaluated to be in-line with the sales budget
  2. Supervise all quotations, tenders, and orders to ensure they’re submitted on time
  3. Coordinate with the marketing manager on new projects
SPAN OF COMMUNICATION

Internal: Sr. VP S&M, S&M team, Proposal Manager/ Proposal Team, Technical & Costing Department, Projects Department / Planning, Production Department, QC, PED, Finance, Legal

External: End-users, Contractors, Consultants, Key Accounts

JOB RELEVANT INFORMATION (BOUNDARIES & DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY)

Secure and negotiate orders in line with the authority matrix given to him on discounts and terms and conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  2. Master’s Degree in Business Administration is a plus

Preferred Experience:

  1. 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in sales management – Pipe industry experience is a plus
