Job Description We are looking for a Sales Manager for an events company based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the events industry in KSA, with a strong record of winning major projects.
Established network in the events sector, including government clients, private sector brands, and corporate clients.
Experience working at a leading events company in KSA.
Strong experience in bidding, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Fluent in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).
Self-motivated, result-driven, and capable of working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand Palma's client base and secure high-value projects.
Bidding & Proposal Management: Lead the entire bidding process, from identifying opportunities to preparing proposals and negotiating contracts.
Client Relationships & Networking: Leverage an existing network of decision-makers, brands, and government entities to generate leads and long-term partnerships.
New Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities beyond Palma's current field, exploring potential areas for growth in the events industry.
Industry Engagement: Keep up to date with government tenders, RFPs, and emerging business opportunities in the Saudi events market.
Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets, ensuring Palma is positioned as a key player in the market.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to develop tailored pitches and ensure smooth project execution.
About the Role: We are looking for a Sales Manager with a strong industry network and a proven track record in securing large projects. The ideal candidate should come from a leading events company in Saudi Arabia and have experience in bidding, winning contracts, and driving revenue growth. In addition to growing Palma's existing business, the Sales Manager will be expected to identify and develop new opportunities beyond Palma's current scope, expanding into untapped markets within the events sector.
