An established industry player is seeking a dynamic sales professional to drive growth in freight forwarding services. This role involves developing strategic sales plans, identifying potential clients, and promoting a comprehensive range of logistics solutions across sea, air, and land freight. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and expand the customer base.
Identify and target potential clients in various industries requiring freight forwarding services.
Promote the company’s full range of logistics services (Sea, Air, and Land Freight).
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Negotiate and close business deals that promote sustained revenue.
Coordinate with internal departments (operations, customs clearance, warehousing) to ensure customer satisfaction.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and identify business opportunities.
Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
Train and guide junior sales team members if applicable.
Skills
Sales and Negotiation: Strong ability to close deals, negotiate contracts, and handle objections confidently.
Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Sea, Air, and Land Freight services, pricing models, and logistics processes.
Business Development: Proven capability to identify new business opportunities, grow customer accounts, and expand market share.
Customer Relationship Management: Skilled at building long-term client relationships and delivering customer satisfaction.
Strategic Planning: Ability to develop and implement sales strategies aligned with business goals.
Market Awareness: Up-to-date knowledge of local and international freight forwarding markets and competitors.
Analytical Thinking: Competent in analyzing sales metrics and market trends to make informed decisions.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
Leadership: Experience in leading or mentoring junior team members.
Technology Proficiency: Proficient in CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and reporting tools.
