Job description

Being part of the IFF Nourish Commercial Group, as a Sales Lead – Kingdom Saudi Arabia, you will be responsible for leading the sales team in KSA, developing the business, and setting objectives for the country. You will maintain and grow key relationships, drive the business forward, and effectively manage multiple projects.

The role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the sales team by providing direction, setting goals, and clarifying expectations. Model desired behaviors and develop plans for each team member.
  2. Contribute to building the growth strategy, own its execution, and build meaningful market and consumer insights to draft effective business growth plans.
  3. Develop customer relationships by assigning the right Account Manager to each customer and leading sales initiatives in customer engagement.
  4. Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Create and motivate project teams, ensuring effective project management by team members.
  6. Support the development and execution of Account Plans aligned with the business growth strategy.
  7. Understand and leverage IFF’s strategy, organization, capabilities, proprietary technologies, resources, and product and service offerings.
  8. Support projects and the development of new businesses to increase volume and revenue alongside the team.
  9. Identify new business opportunities and prepare action plans to win new business.
  10. Ensure the team acts as Project Owners for briefs submitted to Creative Centers or local technical support.
  11. Support and follow up with partners (distributors and/or agents).
  12. Develop proactive initiatives with team members, marketing, and technical departments to deliver continuous innovation.
Job Requirements
  1. Minimum 7 years of experience in sales, including at least 3 years leading a sales team in food flavors and/or ingredients, preferably in industrial-scale B2B engagement.
  2. Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  3. Ability to influence, persuade, and assess customer needs and satisfaction.
  4. Effective delegation skills and the ability to motivate direct reports.
  5. Conflict resolution skills.
  6. Successful team management experience.
  7. Willingness to travel as required.
  8. Results-driven, autonomous, with a strong sense of ownership and collaboration.
  9. IT savvy.
  10. Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
