Role Overview

We are looking for a Sales Engineer in solid waste management to join our KSA team. This role requires a strong technical-commercial background in waste management and recycling solutions, with proven experience in developing client relationships, driving sales, and delivering tailored technical solutions. You will act as the bridge between our engineering teams, partners, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for AFC MENA’s waste management and recycling solutions in Saudi Arabia and the wider MENA region.
  • Identify and engage with new clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Provide technical expertise and tailored proposals to support clients’ operational and sustainability goals.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, negotiation, closing deals, and after-sales follow-up.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to deliver turnkey solutions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulations impacting the recycling and waste management industry.
  • Represent AFC MENA at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Environmental, Industrial, or related field).
  • Minimum 2–7 years of experience in waste management, recycling systems, or industrial machinery sales.
  • Strong technical knowledge of recycling technologies, shredders, granulators, washing lines, or related machinery.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, contract negotiations, and business development.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel across Saudi Arabia.
