Job description

About this Position

As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for executing sales strategies aligned with the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) goals, ensuring business growth through customer acquisition and retention. You will work closely with customers and distributors, providing technical solutions while maintaining strong relationships to drive revenue and profitability. This role requires a combination of sales expertise, technical knowledge, and customer-focused problem-solving.

What You’ll Do

  1. Implement local sales plans aligned with SBU strategy to drive customer acquisition and retention.
  2. Manage and execute customer roadmaps in the CRM tool (ACE) to track and close growth opportunities.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and distributors.
  4. Collaborate with Technical Customer Service (TCS) to conduct line trials and resolve customer issues.
  5. Deliver Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Organic Sales Growth (OSG) and Profit Contribution (PC%) in the assigned territory.

What makes you a good fit

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
  2. 1-3 years of experience in B2B sales or technical sales.
  3. Familiarity with industrial products, manufacturing, or adhesive technologies is a plus.
  4. Strong sales and negotiation skills with a customer-focused approach.
  5. Technical knowledge of relevant products, applications, and industry trends.
  6. Experience using CRM tools (ACE or similar) for pipeline and customer management.
  7. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  8. Ability to analyze market trends and provide data-driven business insights.
