Job Description

The Sales Engineer is responsible for:

  1. Prospecting: Targeting new customers, regaining lost customers, and maximizing potential of existing accounts.
  2. Speed: Responding to requests from prospects, customers, colleagues, or suppliers within 24 hours to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain professionalism.
  3. Competence: Understanding customer requirements, collecting detailed information, and preparing RFQ forms and quotations in coordination with Sales, Technical, and Supplier teams.
  4. Relationship Management: Maintaining continuous contact with prospects and customers, serving as the primary touch-point to nurture long-term relationships.
  5. Technical Knowledge: Developing and maintaining a high level of product knowledge through continuous training.
  6. Customer Needs Analysis: Understanding customer needs to identify areas for improvement and maximize sales potential.
  7. Product Demonstrations: Conducting demos in showrooms, at customer sites, or with international suppliers.
  8. Pricing and Negotiation: Setting pricing strategies and negotiating with suppliers and customers to meet targets.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to provide detailed reports and feedback from customers.
  • Attention to detail, including documenting work with photos and descriptions.
