Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell a portfolio of products and/or services and solutions directly to current and new customers.
- Inform customers of new product/service introductions and prices.
- Create, monitor, and revise lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline.
- Manage products/services or territories/accounts with moderate complexity.
- Work within the plan dictated by the manager.
- Train new team members and contribute to employee performance evaluations.
- Build knowledge of business, financials, products/services, the market, or accounts.
- Manage moderately complex territory/assigned accounts, products/services, sales, or account management processes.
- Maintain direct contact with clients with moderate authority to set and negotiate product/service terms.
- Plan own territory or account approach and monitor resources with guidance.
- Maintain service workshop facilities and equipment, and make recommendations as required.
- Assist immediate superiors in ensuring efficient operations and speedy delivery of the service workshop.
- Coordinate the smooth running of the service workshop with service staff.
- Engage in troubleshooting jobs and carry out installation jobs at sites.
- Delegate tasks and work alongside service technicians.
- Prepare failure analysis reports of seals received in the workshop where applicable.
- Support Application Engineering for finalizing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of seal failures.
- Handle a few customers for business development/sales activities as an added responsibility.
- Participate in inventory management.
- Proactively work with EagleBurgmann ERP systems like SealCarePro, SAP ByD, etc.
- Prepare Initial and Final Inspection Reports and participate in costing methods of repair jobs where necessary.
- Measure competitor seal parts, create drawings, and submit to Application Engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- Minimum 3-5 years of technical experience in the Mechanical Seal Industry.
- Good knowledge of Centrifugal Pumps, Agitators, Mixers, and Blowers.
- Awareness of Centrifugal Compressors is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Wet Mechanical Seals, Supply Systems, and API 682 Standards.
- Understanding of ANSI, Engineering Drawings, Limits & Tolerances, etc.
- Ability to independently install mechanical seals.
- Mid-level troubleshooting skills at site.
- Good command of spoken and written English; knowledge of spoken Arabic is an advantage.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in computer and IT systems (MS Office, Document Management, etc.).
