Job description

Your Role:

We are currently seeking a Sales and Marketing Specialist to join our team in the Middle East, specifically in Saudi Arabia (KSA), covering the Middle East region, including Egypt and Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytical chemistry techniques, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for providing exceptional scientific support. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and delivering high-quality analytical solutions to meet customer needs and support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Campaign Execution: Plan, develop, and execute field marketing campaigns to generate leads and support sales and dealer portfolio strategies in Chemistry.
  2. Event Management: Support dealers and organize events such as seminars, workshops, and trade shows to promote our products, providing expert advice on product and application solutions when engaging with customers.
  3. Customer Engagement: Assist dealer and commercial teams by presenting capabilities, qualifying leads, demonstrating value propositions, and closing new business opportunities through scientific and technological support during teleconferences, field visits, and scientific trade shows related to the Chemistry Portfolio.
  4. Trainings: Provide technical training and support for sales and dealer partners in line with product and service initiatives.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to align marketing strategies with sales goals and ensure effective communication of marketing initiatives. Collaborate with other cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations.
  6. Content Creation: Develop marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital content tailored to field needs.
  7. Market Research: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and the competitive landscape, using insights to develop marketing strategies.
  8. Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and events, providing reports and recommendations for improvement.

Who You Are

  • Educational Background: BSc with 5+ years of experience, MS with 3+ years of experience, or PhD in analytical chemistry or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of hands-on laboratory experience in analytical chemistry techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of analytical chemistry principles, techniques, and regulatory requirements.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information both orally and in writing in English and Arabic.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
