Position Summary
The Sales Accounts manager is in charge of the retention of their customer relationship. Individual would supervise the portfolio of existing clients, develop new business with them, and seek new sales opportunities. This position maintains, manages, and grows all aspects of a clients relationship with the company. This includes sales of commercial kitchen equipment and restaurant & coffee design services to restaurants, fast food chains and/or other properties that require end to end solutions for commercial kitchen equipment. The focus of the Sales Accounts Manager role is to penetrate and achieve the sales target set by the company.
Objectives of this role
- Serve as the main point of contact in all matters related to client concerns and needs.
- Build and strengthen client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships.
- Maintain accurate client records, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals.
- Work with sales and other internal teams to develop strategic marketing plans and ensure KPIs are being met.
- Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients.
Responsibilities
- Handle inquiries and requests from customers and address their needs.
- Stay on top of accounts, making sure they receive services that are within their budget and meet their needs.
- Meet regularly with other team members to discuss progress and find new ways to improve business.
- Generate progress reports for clients and senior leaders within the organization.
- Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and communicate with the sales team regularly.
- Seek out opportunities for account growth through the addition of new products, categories, services, and solutions.
Required skills and qualifications
- 2+ years&apos experience in a sales or sales account management with proven record of sales success and history of accomplishments
- Having 3+ years of project sales experience is a plus.
- Bachelor&aposs degree in business management, Marketing, Engineering or relevant work experience.
- Skill in understanding client business challenges and proposing tailored solutions
- Capacity to thrive in dynamic environments and pivot quickly to changing client needs
- Skill in navigating complex deals while maintaining value and relationship integrity
- Experience using CRM systems and analytics to inform account strategies
- Aptitude for overcoming obstacles and finding creative solutions in time-sensitive situation
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
