About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Safety/Technical Consultant with a proven track record in industrial safety across oil & gas, petrochemical, and utilities sectors. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of expertise in developing and implementing safety systems, driving compliance with NFPA, API, OSHA, HCIS, and ISMS standards, and providing technical leadership on high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HSE Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Lead audits, inspections, and safety assessments across complex industrial sites.
  • Conduct incident investigations and Root Cause Analyses (RCA), driving corrective actions.
  • Design, monitor, and report HSE performance KPIs.
  • Interpret and apply KSA Civil Defense, HCIS, GOSI and other regional regulations.
  • Provide technical consultancy on fire protection, process safety, and risk management.
  • Support clients in achieving regulatory compliance and continuous improvement in safety culture.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field.
  • 10+ years’ experience in industrial HSE (oil & gas, petrochemicals, utilities).
  • In-depth knowledge of NFPA, API, OSHA, HCIS, ISMS frameworks.
  • Demonstrated expertise in incident investigation, audits, and KPI design.
  • Strong experience liaising with regulatory authorities (KSA Civil Defense, HCIS, GOSI).
  • Excellent communication and client-facing consultancy skills.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, CSP, CFPS, ISO Lead Auditor) are an advantage.
