An established industry player is seeking a Safety Officer to uphold safety standards across construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety and NEBOSH IGC certification. With a minimum of 3 years of experience, you will conduct site inspections, provide safety training, and ensure compliance with regulations. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a safety-first culture in a dynamic work environment, making a significant impact on the health and safety of workers.
Key Responsibilities:
Enforce safety policies and procedures across the worksite
Conduct daily site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards
Provide toolbox talks, safety training, and induction programs for workers
Investigate and report accidents, near-misses, and unsafe practices
Maintain safety documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Liaise with site supervisors and management to promote a safety-first culture
Ensure the proper use of PPE and safety equipment on-site
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification is mandatory
Minimum 3 years of experience in a safety role, preferably in construction or oil & gas
Strong knowledge of HSE standards and local regulations
Excellent observation, communication, and reporting skills
Candidates with transferable Iqama (KSA) or UAE experience are preferred
