We are looking for

Brief Job Description:
The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing health,
safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures at project sites. You will play a key role in promoting a safety-first culture,
reducing risk, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities:
1. Implement and monitor site-specific HSE plans, procedures, and risk assessments in compliance with UAE
regulations and company policies.
2. Conduct daily site inspections to ensure all safety measures are being followed and report deviations.
3. Lead toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions for workers and subcontractors.
4. Conduct incident/accident investigations, prepare reports, and ensure corrective/preventive actions are
implemented.
5. Maintain up-to-date HSE documentation, including permits, risk assessments, safety logs, and compliance
records.
6. Liaise with project managers, consultants, and client safety representatives for coordination on HSE matters.
7. Ensure that PPE compliance and safety signage are enforced and available throughout the worksite.
8. Regularly review and update emergency response plans and conduct mock drills.
9. Support the management team in achieving zero incident targets and continuous safety improvement.
10. Monitor subcontractors to ensure their operations align with the overall project safety plan.
Skills & Qualification:
1. Bachelor s Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Occupational Safety.
2. NEBOSH IGC (International General Certificate) is mandatory.
3. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction or industrial contracting sector.
4. Sound knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and international safety standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).
5. Excellent understanding of risk assessment, hazard control, and accident preventions.
6. Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
7. Proficient in MS Office and HSE reporting tools.
8. Ability to work under pressure, make decisions quickly, and manage crises effectively.
