Safety Officer


Summary:
As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of employees in their workplace. You will develop and implement safety policies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  3. Provide training and guidance to employees on safe work practices and emergency response procedures.
  4. Investigate workplace incidents, near-misses, and accidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  5. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports, and training sessions.

Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in Safety Officer roles.
  3. Proficiency in relevant tools such as OSHA standards, MSDS sheets, and safety software.
  4. Strong communication skills to effectively convey safety information and train employees.
  5. Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop effective safety plans.
  6. Knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  7. Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis.
