Qanbar dywidag Company is seeking a qualified and proactive Safety Officer to join our team in the Western Province, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enforcing safety policies, identifying hazards, and promoting a culture of safety across all levels of the organization. This role requires a professional with 1 to 5 years of relevant experience and an active OSHA certification.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and enforce health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations at project and company sites.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and correct potential hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety standards.
  • Conduct safety training sessions and toolbox talks for employees and subcontractors.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, training, and certifications.
  • Assist in the development of site-specific safety plans and emergency response procedures.
  • Coordinate with site supervisors and management to promote safe work practices.
  • Ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear.
