JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Must be able to write safety evaluation and inspection reports to a professional standard, and must be capable of thorough incident investigation and determining causal factors using root cause analysis.
• Must be knowledgeable of work permit procedures and safety procedures used in hazardous environments, and be familiar with international safety codes.
• Capability to train multinational workforce using training tools on a regular basis.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Graduate of any Engineering Course.
• Knowledge in the development, oversight and coordination of operational safety programs.
• Well versed in modern occupational Health and safety practices.
• Age should not exceed 45 years old.
• With Certificate as Safety Manager/ OSHA/NEBOSH/ICG accredited courses.
• Saudi Aramco Experience is an advantage, or experience in Gulf Countries.
• Experience in occupational safety in the constructions and/or maintenance field, and be familiar with risk management and management of change procedures.
• Experience in developing and implementing safety policies, conducting risk assessments and leading safety training programs.
• Computer literate, and must possess a valid light vehicle driving license.
EXPERIENCE:
• 15-20 years work experience as Safety Manager (20+ preferable) preferably in oil and gas refining/petrochemical industries.
