Leverage your abilities and join the dynamic team of a leading engineering consultancy start-up under the umbrella of a financial services group, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

As aSafety Engineer you will be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and minimizing risks across construction or engineering projects to protect workers, property, and the environment.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop and review safety engineering designs in alignment with Saudi building and safety codes.
• Prepare detailed safety drawings and documentation using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Ensure compliance with Civil Defense regulations and follow up on approvals through official platforms.
• Coordinate with architectural and structural teams to integrate safety requirements into project plans.
• Conduct plan inspections and liaise with relevant authorities for necessary safety clearances.
• Monitor project documentation to ensure safety standards are consistently met across all stages.
• Assist in preparing and submitting technical safety reports for client and regulatory review.
  

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a consultancy office with Civil Defence-approved projects.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi building codes and Civil Defence safety regulations.
• Proficiency in safety design tools including AutoCAD and Revit.
• Valid professional classification from the Saudi Council of Engineers.
• Strong coordination, analytical, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on compliance and risk prevention.
