Rosewood Hotel Group in Tabuk seeks a Pool Technician to operate and maintain pools, jacuzzis, water features, and plumbing across the hotel. You will conduct routine inspections, test water quality, perform preventive maintenance, and carry out repairs to ensure guest safety and comfort.
Role requires strong knowledge of pool systems, chemical treatment, and health & safety standards, with a focus on clean, well‑maintained facilities and excellent guest service.
The Pool Technician is responsible for the safe, efficient, and hygienic operation of all swimming pools, Jacuzzis, water features, and plumbing systems within the hotel. This role ensures the proper functioning of water circulation, filtration, sanitation, and chemical treatment systems while strictly adhering to health, safety, and hospitality standards. The technician performs routine inspections, preventive maintenance, water‑quality testing, and repairs to maintain excellent water clarity and guest safety. In addition, the role covers plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, maintaining domestic water systems, drainage, and ensuring uninterrupted water supply across guest rooms and back‑of‑house areas.
Minimum five years’ experience in building maintenance – plumber or pool technician for a luxury or ultra‑luxury hotel/resort.
High school diploma.
Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow‑up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly. Understand a guest’s service needs, work cohesively with co‑workers as part of a team, work with minimal supervision, maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
Basic working knowledge of building maintenance, electrical, plumbing and refrigeration equipment; working knowledge of plumbing practices, electrical practices, national/local fire standards, local mechanical construction practices, water treatment program, blueprints and plumbing and wiring schematics, power and hand tools, meters, etc. as it relates to the technical trades; ability to enforce hotel’s standards, policies and procedures with assigned associates, prioritize and organize work assignments, delegate work, direct performance of assigned associates and follow up with corrections where needed, instruct/direct associates in the operation, maintenance and repair of equipment, motivate assigned associates and maintain a cohesive team; participate in associates training and provide feedback and input to training program, be a clear thinker in pressure situations and exercise good judgment, focus attention on details, maintain confidentiality of hotel guests and pertinent hotel information, work with minimal supervision, troubleshoot and use alternatives in emergency situations, understand guest inquiries, provide responses and interact positively, work in close proximity to high‑pressure steam and hot water.
Required to speak, read and write English; fluency in other languages preferred.
Must be able to endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, reach up and down, remain stationary at times throughout work periods, and satisfactorily communicate with guests and co‑workers to their understanding.
