Responsibilities:
  1. Possess a strong sense of ownership and accountability for the success and failure of their assigned unit.
  2. Challenge the status quo to improve operational effectiveness and safety.
  3. Apply continuous improvement, value creation, and financial skills to enhance profitability and reduce costs.
  4. Understand customer needs to ensure high quality, responsiveness, and reliability.
  5. Know the total production costs and work to improve cost efficiency and EBITDA.
  6. Establish metrics and management systems to optimize plant value and EBITDA.
  7. Utilize knowledge of plant operations and technology, analyze historical data, and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts.
  8. Ensure manufacturing technology and process automation are used to optimize performance.
  9. Diagnose and document root causes of asset utilization losses.
  10. Review daily logs, alarms, and KPIs to monitor plant performance.
  11. Coordinate with production to determine capabilities and optimize schedules.
  12. Translate business plans into daily operational plans.
  13. Respond promptly to plant issues and emergencies, acting as a technical expert during unplanned events.
  14. Ensure compliance with all plant operating permits.
  15. Provide input for site integration and overall system optimization.
Qualifications:
  1. BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Automation)
  2. Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing or related experience
  3. Experience in relevant line of business preferred
  4. Process Safety Management experience preferred
