Job summary

KBR seeks a Rotating Technician II to maintain rotating equipment and assist with installation, maintenance and repair to required standards.

Responsibilities include allocating maintenance activities, supervising jobs, organizing resources, and ensuring SAP data is accurate.

Ideal candidates have 4-6 years oil & gas maintenance experience, a Diploma or Bachelors, and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–6 years' experience in Oil & Gas maintenance.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas facilities.
• Proactive, well organized with excellent communication skills and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Allocate maintenance activities to various Technicians and assemble the team.
• Supervise all ongoing jobs and update the progress to Foreman.
• Organize manpower resources, equipment's and materials availability.
• Arrange necessary work permits before starting of work.
• Provide technical advice to Technicians to use proper tools and equipment's.
• Co-ordinate with Operations, Maintenance Planning and Technical departments to execute and complete the job.
• Ensure that SAP data input, history and actual hours are maintained.
• Attend daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings.
• Maintain strict compliance with SATORP standards and guidelines.
• Ensure the compliance of safe work practices, hazardous work regulations and PPE usage according to SATORP standards.
• Encourage reporting of Near miss, unsafe conditions and acts.
• Participates in Safety audits.
• Attend the Safety and Technical training as scheduled.
