Job Description

The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement the company's risk management strategy in line with operational and regulatory goals.
  2. Identify, assess, and monitor risks associated with electronic payment systems, such as fraud risk, compliance risk, and cybersecurity threats.
  3. Conduct regular risk assessments and provide analytical reports to senior management.
  4. Collaborate with Compliance, IT, and Internal Audit teams to ensure effective risk response.
  5. Develop and maintain risk policies and procedures, and monitor their effectiveness.
  6. Stay updated on local and international regulatory changes and ensure company alignment.
  7. Report to the Risk Committee and Board of Directors as needed.
  8. Supervise the risk management team (if applicable).
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management, preferably in fintech or payment gateways.
  • Solid knowledge of risk management frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000).
  • Familiarity with regulatory environments such as central bank directives.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
