Role Information

Position Title: Risk Management Specialist

Department: Internal Audit & Risk Management

Reports to: Internal Audit & Risk Management Director

Direct Reports: NA (Standalone Position)

Role Description

To oversee and implement Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) frameworks. This role ensures the organization's ability to identify, assess, mitigate, and respond to risks effectively.

Role Accountabilities

• Develop and implement risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and scenario analysis to identify organizational vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with the Internal Audit Specialist to align risk management with internal audit findings.
• Collaborate with the Internal Audit function, operations, management and risk owners to develop and maintain the Risk Registers.
• Establish and maintain the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans (BCP/DRP).
• Monitor compliance with risk policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
• Facilitate risk management training and awareness programs across the organization.
• Prepare risk management and BCM reports for Internal Audit & Risk Management leadership, executive leadership and BARC.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-3 years in risk management or BCM.
• Certifications: Working towards CRMA, CBCP, CBCI, CBCM, PRM, FRM, CRMP, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Skills: Risk assessment, risk management, business continuity planning, data analysis, and stakeholder collaboration.
