Job description

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 3 years+ (with valid Saudi Iqama)

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in SAS programming language (SAS 9.4) or other programming languages such as Python or R
  • Prior model development experience, including Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, XGBoost, and Random Forest, is a plus

TASKS

Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Non-technical

  • Strong communication skills and ability to present findings to client stakeholders
  • Experience in Financial Services, Banking, & Card Payments Industry is a plus
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements
  • Document all steps in the development process

Technical

  • Experience in SAS (SAS 9.4) or other programming languages such as Python/R
  • Prior predictive model development experience with Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, XGBoost, Random Forest is a plus
  • Extract data from client source systems and perform data quality checks for model development
  • Identify opportunities to innovatively use data and extract insights from complex data sets
  • Identify credit policy recommendations through analysis of complex data sets

Knowledge & Experience:

  • 3+ years in a similar role, ideally within financial services
  • Valid Iqama in Saudi Arabia is mandatory
  • Good knowledge of data wrangling with SQL, SAS, Python, R
  • Proficiency in SAS 9.4, Python, or R
  • Prior model development experience with Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, XGBoost, Random Forest is a plus
  • Strong communication skills, capable of presenting to senior stakeholders (non-technical)
