A leading company in facility management is seeking a Risk, Change, and Business Continuity Management leader for a critical airport project. This role involves developing risk management frameworks, ensuring compliance with standards, and liaising with stakeholders to maintain operational continuity. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience in risk management and business continuity within regulated environments.
JOB PURPOSE
This position is responsible for leading all aspects of Risk, Change, and Business Continuity Management (RCM) for a facility management project within the aerodrome of an airport. You will ensure the project operates effectively and minimizes disruption through proactive risk identification, change management, and business continuity planning.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
1.Develop and implement a comprehensive RCM program aligned with ISO 31000 and the Contracting Authority's standards.
2.Identify all potential risks (operational, technical, financial, environmental, etc.) that could impact the project.
3.Assess the likelihood and impact of each risk and develop mitigation plans to minimize their potential impact.
4.Lead the development and implementation of a change management process for handling modifications to locations, space, technology, systems, processes, or services.
5.Create and maintain a Risk Register documenting identified risks, mitigation plans, and residual risk levels.
6.Collaborate with the Contracting Authority's Risk Management Committee (RMC) to review and update the Risk Register.
7.Develop and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) for critical airport functions, adhering to NCEMA standards.
8.Conduct regular BCP reviews and exercises to ensure their effectiveness.
9.Liaise with relevant stakeholders (facility operators, airlines, passengers) to ensure alignment with BCPs.
10.Participate in emergency response drills and exercises.
11.Report on RCM activities to project management and the Contracting Authority.
Skills
QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS
•Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
•Minimum 5 years of experience in Risk, Change, and Business Continuity Management.
•Experience in developing and implementing RCM programs within a facility management or airport environment (highly preferred).
•In-depth knowledge of risk assessment methodologies (ISO 31000).
•Working knowledge of business continuity best practices (NCEMA
•Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
EXPERIENCE
•Experience working within a highly regulated environment (a plus).
•Experience in managing change within complex projects (a plus).
•Experience collaborating with various stakeholders (a plus).
•Proficient in the use of PCs, spreadsheets, and other software applications
•Strong leadership skills
•Strong oral and written communication skills.
