Job description

About the role:

Join our growing Portfolio Analytics and Modeling team, responsible for Credit Risk Reporting & Modeling. Your role involves analyzing data, creating reports, and developing data-driven insights to support business decision-making. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver comprehensive reports and dashboards using various programming and data analysis techniques.

  1. Analyze customer and merchant financial data to derive actionable insights.
  2. Develop reports and dashboards for internal and external reporting lines.
  3. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across sources, resolve discrepancies, and maintain data integrity.
  4. Investigate data discrepancies, collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues, and prevent future occurrences.
  5. Engage in risk/finance analytics and ad-hoc inquiries.
  6. Participate in designing and improving risk/finance processes.
  7. Develop and maintain ECL calculation models, including PD, LGD, EAD under IFRS-9 guidelines.
  8. Perform initial validation of risk models for IFRS 9 compliance.
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights for product launches and operational improvements.
  10. Optimize processes through automation and policy development.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or Actuarial Science.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a bank or Fintech in a data analytics or risk analytics team.
  • Strong analytical skills and technical coding capabilities.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Excel.
  • Understanding of statistical analysis and forecasting techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of IFRS 9 credit risk modeling and financial concepts.
  • Experience with visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to present complex data clearly and concisely.
