Job Responsibilities
- Ensure staff works together as a team to provide optimal service and meet guest needs.
- Inspect staff grooming and attire, and rectify deficiencies.
- Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and locking doors.
- Inspect storage areas for organization, FIFO use, and cleanliness.
- Complete scheduled inventories and requisition necessary supplies.
- Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well-being.
- Complete work orders for maintenance repairs.
Staff Management and Guest Service
- Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment / Open Door Policy.
- Follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training and certifications.
- Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, and protect company assets.
- Greet and acknowledge guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests sincerely.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with others.
- Develop positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to colleagues' concerns.
Workplace Standards and Physical Requirements
- Adhere to quality standards; seek ways to improve organizational efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost-savings.
- Read and verify information in various formats, visually inspect tools and equipment for defects.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; lift and move objects up to 50 pounds; perform fine motor tasks; navigate narrow or elevated spaces; ascend/descend stairs and ramps; reach overhead and below knees, including bending and twisting.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related work experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- No specific license or certification required.
