Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Market Strategy: Works with market leadership to ensure proper pricing, positioning, and inventory management of all rooms, function space, outlets, and other revenue streams.
- Sales: Provides input and direction on hotel sales goals, pricing, selling strategy, and customer information.
- Human Resources: Creates and sustains a work environment focused on fair and equitable treatment and associate satisfaction to enable business success.
- Financial Management: Develops and manages the market strategy budget to achieve or exceed budgeted revenue expectations.
Administrative responsibilities
- Collaborates with the Director of Finance to develop the annual operating budget for the hotel.
- Works with the Director of Sales and Marketing to develop the marketing plan for all revenue streams.
- Processes period-end reporting and critiques.
Technical and Commercial Responsibilities
- Ensure hotels achieve/exceed revenue targets as specified in the respective budget.
- Instill a strong revenue culture aimed at improving the hotel’s market share positions and RGI’s.
- Apply Revenue Management principles in conjunction with hotel leadership to determine strategies to meet budgets and enhance market share.
- Assist in the annual pricing process for transient, group, banquet, and function space.
- Continuously analyze competitive sets, price positioning, seasonality, and mix.
- Process month-end reporting and critiques.
- Ensure standards of Revenue Management discipline are practiced at the property.
- Engage proactively with the corporate office to ensure seamless communication.
Human Resources Responsibilities
- Train sales strategy team members on revenue and yield management.
- Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships within the team.
REPORT LINE & COMMUNICATION
- Reports to the General Manager and works closely with the Corporate Office if applicable.
- Coordinates with other departments to ensure quality service delivery.
Others
- Engage in continuous learning through own IDP.
- Perform any other duties assigned by superiors.

JOB REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel Management, or relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of hotel Revenue Management experience.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, resourceful, with leadership qualities.
- Knowledge of Revenue Management systems and hotel revenue concepts.
- Ability to analyze market data and apply it to sales strategies.
- Financial management skills, including P&L analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in standard software applications and hotel systems.
- Ability to execute strategies and drive results.
